بررسی تنوعات مورفولوژیک کانال و ریشه‌ی مولر اول مندیبل در تصاویر توموگرافی کامپیوتری در بیماران شهر اراک

چکیده

مقدمه: مولرهای اول به عنوان اولین دندان‌هایی که رویش می‌یابند دارای پیچیده‌ترین سیستم ریشه و مورفولوژی کانال و از مستعدترین دندان‌ها نسبت به پوسیدگی و تخریب هستند. هدف این مطالعه، تعیین فراوانی تنوعات مورفولوژیک کانال و ریشه‌ی مولر اول مندیبل در تصاویر (Cone beam computed tomography) CBCT می‌باشد تا بتوان با شناخت بهتر آناتومی ریشه و کانال دندان مولر، درمان مناسب را انجام داد.

مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه‌ی مقطعی و توصیفی، تنوع مورفولوژیک کانال و ریشه مولر اول مندیبل در 170 نمونه از تصویر رادیولوژی CBCT بیماران شهر اراک در سال 1400 مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. در این مطالعه، سن و جنس فرد، تعداد ریشه‌ها و کانال‌های مولر اول مندیبل، مورفولوژی کانال در هر ریشه، وجود کانال میدمزیال و وجود ریشه دیستولینگوال نیز بررسی شد. در انتها نیز جهت تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات از شاخص‌های فراوانی و درصد و جهت مقایسه فراوانی‌ها از آزمون Chi-square استفاده شد.

یافته ها: میانگین سنی در افراد مورد مطالعه، 2/39 سال بود. افراد شامل 86 زن و 84 مرد بودند. بیشترین نمونه‌ی دیده شده، دندان مولر دو ریشه و سه کاناله بود. از نظر مورفولوژی کانال در ریشه‌ی مزیال، شایع‌ترین مورفولوژی کانال، نوع 4 و سپس نوع 2 بود. از نظر مورفولوژی کانال در ریشه‌ی دیستال، شایع‌ترین مورفولوژی کانال،
نوع 1 بود. در نمونه‌های مورد مطالعه، در 99/4 درصد موارد، کانال میدمزیال یافت نشد و در 94/7 درصد موارد، ریشه‌ی دیستولینگوال یافت نگردید.

نتیجه گیری: دندان مولر دو ریشه و سه کاناله بدون کانال میدمزیال و بدون ریشه‌ی دیستولینگوال شایع‌ترین مورد یافت شده در مطالعه‌ی حاضر بود. شایع‌ترین مورفولوژی کانال در ریشه‌ی مزیال، نوع 4 و شایع‌ترین مورفولوژی کانال در ریشه‌ی دیستال، نوع 1 بود.
